Mu’azu visits Obasanjo over PDP crisis

The former head of state Olusegun Obasanjo held a two-hour secret meeting with the new national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Adamu Mu’ azu on Sunday in Abeokuta.

Mu’azu’s visit is believed to be connected to the ungoing crisis in the PDP.

A source told Vanguard that Mu’azu was seeking Obasanjo support ahead for the Jonathan’s elections plans.

Mu’azu was appointed last week by the National Executive Committee of the party following the resignation of the former Chairman Bamanga Tukur.
