Nuella Njubigbo confirms the wedding rumours


Nollywood actress, Nuella Njubigbo has confirmed her plans to get married to Nollywood Producer/Director Tchidi Chikere who already has three children from his former marriage, reports Daily Post

Nuella Njubigbo made this assertion in a press statement and announced that the traditional wedding will take place on March 29 in Anambra State.

She also said that it was not her fault that Tchidi divorced his ex-wife, Sophie Chikere.

Actress Laide Bakare's new husband, Tunde Orilowo wanted by EFCC for Stealing

Laide Bakare’s hubby, Muttairu Babatunde Orilowo, has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretences and stealing.    
 
In a notice to the public, the EFCC noted: “The public is hereby notified that Alhaji Muttairu Babatunde Babaegbe Orilowo, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Obtaining Money under False Pretences and Stealing.  “Dark complexioned Orilowo is 47 years old, 5.7 Feet tall and has brown eyes.

He speaks English and Yoruba fluently. His last known address is No. 1 Otunba Adeniyi Street, Papa-Epe, Lagos."



Though, close friends hinted Orilowo may have sneaked out of the country to Canada to escape arrest, the declaration by the EFCC was due to one business that went awry. They are confident that he will return soon and clear all the grey areas involving a top telecom company and a leading bank. Orilowo has his hands in many pies including property, dredging, and oil and gas with huge investment scattered over Ajah, Ibeju- Lekki, Epe axis,E247magazine reports! 

Until last year, Laide was married to her US-based ex-hubby, Olumide Okunfulure, who she claimed was the father of her first born, a girl. She however started dating Orilowo after her spoilt her silly with choice cars and furnished apartments.

A delegate at the ongoing National Conference in Nigeria, retired police AIG Hamma Misau has died at the National Hospital in Abuja. Mallam Misau died last night of an undisclosed illness at the age of 67.

Mallam Misau became famous after a photo of him taking a nap at the conference was shared on social media three days ago.

Barrister Mohammed Hamma a cousin to the retired police officer confirmed his demise to SaharaReporters.

He said a Muslim funeral is due shortly in Bauchi for the late delegate. Mallam Hamma Misau hails from Misau in Bauchi state.

But as Joanne Milne heard her doctor recite the days of the week, she was overwhelmed with emotion, fighting back tears and gasping to catch her breath.

Until that moment the 40-year-old's world had been silent.

Born with the rare condition Usher Syndrome, Ms Milne has been deaf since birth and in her mid-20s the condition claimed her sight.

But last month Ms Milne underwent a life-changing operation to fit cochlear implants.

Following the procedure, she faced a four-week wait for medics to switch on the implants to see if the operation had been a success.

Hearing for first time, a video capturing the switch-on shows Ms Milne breaking down as she tells her doctor her own voice sounds 'very, very strange', before adding: 'Wow, it is absolutely amazing.'

The doctor tells the 40-year-old, from Gateshead: 'It is a big, big, life-changing day.
