Singer Chidinma has said that she wants to be a coach on the ‘The Voice’, the irony being that the show is not in Nigeria.
The one time winner of Project Fame West Africa reality show, really wants 'The Voice' to hit Nigeria, where numerous music competitions have sprung up in the last few years.
She expressed her enthusiasm on her Instagram page when she visited the “The Voice” studio in England during her UK media tour.
"I WANT YOU! Hmmm what do you think? Isn't it about time The Voice launched in Nigeria? Miss Kedike as one of the judges would you want to be on my team????" she wrote on Instagram.
The Voice is a reality television singing competition to find new singing talent (solo or duets) contested by aspiring singers, age 15 or over, drawn from public auditions.
The winner is determined by viewers by voting through telephone, Internet, SMS text, and iTunes Store purchases of artists' performances.
The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists' performances. Each coach guides their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season.
They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach.
