Tiwa Loses temper At Airport

Tiwa Savage is a no-nonsense lady who doesn’t seem to spare anybody who angers her.

At the Murtala Mohammed International Airport last Monday, Saturday Beats watched how Tiwa descended on a member of staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company who she said was “rude” to her.

The Eminado crooner, looking chic in her black and white ensemble, was seen arguing and quarrelling with the NAHCO staff and her action drew a little crowd.

The NAHCO lady was unfazed by Tiwa’s fame and didn’t allow her to intimidate her as she told the people around that she wasn’t rude to Tiwa.

“I was not rude to her. I only told her to go and board since she had checked in her luggage. I wonder how that could mean that I was rude to her,” Saturday Beats overheard the NAHCO staff saying.

Not giving the lady another look, Tiwa eventually entered the boarding gate alongside her colleagues.

Tiwa and some other Nigerian artistes, Saturday Beats gathered, were on their way to Mauritius on board an Emirate flight.

Recall that it was reported few months ago that the singer had an encounter with a policeman and she allegedly removed his beret from his head.

Don Jazzy supports Tonto Dikeh's 'Sugar Rush' Track

Since Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh now known as Pokolee, joined D’banj’s record label, DB records, she has been receiving controversial comments which has hit more numbers when she released a part of her new song ‘Sugar Rush’ which D’banj featured in. 

Many people have criticized her and her record label CEO, D’banj, that the new song almost sound like Mavin records hit song ‘Dorobucci’. But the Mavin records CEO, Don Jazzy, thinks contrary to what people’s opinion are and he said he doesn't think so.

Don jazzy said even if people said Tonto Dikeh’s new song sounds like his Dorobucci hit song, he explained that he doesn't think the song sounds anything like Dorobucci.

However he acclaimed that the new song by Tonto Dikeh, sounds nice and he likes it. Don Jazzy also made it known that all the comments on the new music is not his business, adding that he prefers sipping his Loya Milk than thinking about all the comments flying around.

Former beauty queen and wife of Super Eagles captain, Adaeze Yobo has been unveiled as the celebrity Ambassador for the 2014 African Fashion week in London, reports Nigeriafilms

This year’s event holds from August 8th to August 9th, at Olympia, Earls Court, London.

Adaeze Yobo, was the former most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, and is also the step-daughter of former football player, John Fashan.

Actress Uche Ogbodo's few months old marriage crashes

Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo's marriage has crashed.

The heavily pregnant Actress secretly wedded an American based ex-footballer, Apo Arthur late last year and has since moved abroad to have her baby.

Confirming the split to SDK, she said “Well, it wasn't really marriage yet because it wasn't fully formalized. We were still in the process of formalizing it when all hell broke loose, so I was merely engaged.   

Explaining why she didn’t clear the air on the alleged wedding last year, she said
“I just felt there was no need to do so because the wedding plan was to follow shortly. Unfortunately it didn’t because things didn’t work out the way it should.

"I walked into a no-win situation…all I can say is that barely one month into the engagement and in the process of planning a formal wedding, I realized I had made the greatest mistake of my life. The Foundation of the Union was based On lies and Deceit…shocking lies…

"we had been dating for almost a year and I thought I knew it all but nothing prepared me for what unfolded.”

On her pregnancy, she said, “on the verge of trying to salvage the situation, I found out I was expecting a child. I kept quiet over the umours making the rounds because, I was left with the option of thinking of my child and trying to salvage a dead situation, but now I have finally made up my mind to break off the engagement and my reasons are Irreconcilable…I just want to be left alone to take care of my child. “

Insisting she wasn’t married, she said, “I wasn't married I was engaged to be married but as things stand now, the engagement is officially broken due to irreconcilable differences and since I am having my baby soon, my Doctors has advised me to rest as my health and that of my Baby is the most important thing right now. I am sorry if keeping quiet misled people"

"Kefee spoke on the day she died" Sammy Okposo

While revealing the preparation for Kefee's burial, front-line gospel artiste and Glo ambassador, Sammie Okposo, had this to say about the late singer's last moment.

“Kefee was not pregnant, though she had a medical history that was being properly managed in America. Her remains has not arrived the country yet. On that fateful day she died, she complained that she did not like the way she was feeling and they had to call for emergency.

After examining her, they said that nothing was wrong with her. But she insisted that she was not feeling fine.

Coupled with stress, she slumped. It has been agreed by the family members and the husband that she would be buried in her home town, Sapele and we are making all the necessary paper preparations to fly her down to Nigeria.
“We have been asked by the husband to organize a kind of memorial service for her tagged,”An evening with Kefee”, which we are planning to do immediately he arrives.

“We are therefore planning something big for her which will include a documentary about her and probably, a stage play. Also, there are plans for annual lecture in her memory. We are setting up a committee to that effect,” he said.

Bomb Blast in Wuse 2, Abuja

A bomb blast has just occurred at the gate of Emab plaza, beside Banex shopping complex Banex Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja.
Residents and peeps are fleeing the area for dear life and  six people have been confirmed dead and taken to the mall with at least 17 people injured including a white man with a broken leg!!!
Eyewitnesses said there are body parts scattered around the scene of the blast.
The explosion occurred at about 4p.m at the gate of the busy plaza and traders at the plaza, who were in tears, say the blast apparently went off in a car that was driving into the mall. 
National Emergency Management Agency say they are unable to confirm the casualty rate just yet. But they are evacuating victims to the nearby  Maitama District Hospital. 
Emergency officials also reportedly arrived without adequate material. "Tell Joseph to come with enough dead body bags," an emergency official was heard telling his colleagues. 
A Vanguard reporter on the scene said 

"I can see human parts and some bodies scattered on the ground but we are too scared to get closer for fear of another bomb..Many traders and visitors to the mall are still trapped in the burning building,"
