In a shocking revelation, singer,Harrysong told Yes Magazine that he is the product of a brother/sister union... ..When asked why his parents didn't have other kids after him..He said..
" It’s just that after my dad and my mum gave birth to me, they separated and went their different ways. So, my father got married to another woman and also my mother to another man. They separated because I was given birth to by two relations. My father and mother are actually brother and sister. They gave birth to me before they could realize that.Well, I learnt that when my mother was alive, she met my father. Then she was still in school and they were in the same class and the same village. But she didn’t know that they are closely related. So, I was born based on what our villagers regarded as abomination and therefore they had to separate. Because it was a big abomination, so they had to separate. Even, they attempted to kill my father in that village, but he fled, because in Warri where I come from, it is a taboo. They termed it incest."

D'banj visits Nyanya blast victims

Nigeria music superstar, Dapo Oyebanji (D'banj) has urged Nigerian youths to shun violence and embrace peace.

D'banj made the call when he visited some victims of the Nyanya bomb blast in company of the FCT Health Secretary, Dr Ademola Onakomaiya, at the Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja.

According to him, government alone cannot do all that is required for peace to reign in the country.

“I am a Nigerian and I am affected by any tragedy that befalls us and particularly in the spirit of Easter, I came to show the victims support.I have seen that the survivors are responding positively to treatment and thanked the medical team here for the efforts. We are appealing to the perpetrators of these acts to have a rethink and support the peace initiative so that our people would not be subjected to such wickedness,” he said.

Dbanj said that terrorism in Nigeria was strange as Nigerians were known to be peace loving and advised them to embrace peace in the interest of development.

He said that artistes should be concerned about achieving peace in Nigeria because if the violence continued, the entertainment industry would be endangered.

D'banj donated several gift items to the victims and also settled some hospital bills.

The hospital management said that over 27 corpses and 26 victims were brought from the blast but 16 were still receiving treatment as others had been discharged.

The FCT Health Secretary urged artistes to support the Federal Government’s fight against terrorism by creating awareness in their performances.

Onakomaiya urged people in the entertainment industry to unite and produce songs, plays, paintings that would condemn and discourage terrorism.

He said that the potency of art as a communication tool amongst Nigerian youths would make it an effective medium in creating awareness.

According to him, security is the responsibility of all Nigerians, therefore, should not be left in the hands of government alone.

Onakomaiya said that the visit of Dbanj would go a long way to lift the spirits of the patients.

Banky W blasts fan for criticizing Tiwa Savage's Dubai wedding

Bride-to be, Tiwa Savage has arrived Dubai for her fairytale white wedding which holds this Saturday! We hear Banky W is the best man....nicey.
So, a few hours ago,  Banky W posted Tiwa and Tbillz' pre-wedding party flier on his instagram page and of course so many fans responded happily but a particular fan @afrikaetal decided to criticize the couple for choosing Dubai.
“Why Dubai all the time. Use the powerful platform you have to promote your home country instead of the hypocrisy of always running to other Countries. If you all invest the money into small businesses in Nigeria or Africa at large, we too will have others running to us # proudly African #” he wrote, check out Banky W's candid response below:

“Such comments irritate me. We use the platforms we have to promote Nigeria all the time. We invest our money in Nigeria, You don’t know the number of kids we put through school with scholarships, the number of health care bills we pay for people…you don’t know the number of Nigerian companies we bank roll and float or the number of ideas we invest. It’s hard enough finding happiness in this world…
Two people should be able to celebrate it any way they fell like it!!! PLUS They already did their traditional wedding in Nigeria, they should be free to do whatever or go wherever they want for the white wedding. It;s THEIR wedding. Not a country’s…not a state’s…not mine…and certainly not yours. Leave them be. People all over the world get married, go on vacations or honeymoons, wherever they feel like it all over the world. Our ppl (people) should be allowed to do the same without being branded hypocrites. You and the high horse you rode in on should have several seats.
My goodness.” he stated.
Who agrees with him?

Deeper Life Secretary explains why Kumuyi ‘broke down’ during Easter Retreat

More revelations have emerged over the recent failing health of the General superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi during the just concluded national Easter Retreat of the church.
According to Dailypost , the former university don broke down during the retreat and was forced to rest on Saturday after losing his voice the previous day.
Explaining why the preacher broke down, the church secretary, Pastor Jerry Asemota while addressing the congregation Saturday morning said the sudden health failure of the pastor was not unconnected to his recent marathon engagements across the continent.

According to Asemota, “With much pleading, we had to convince our pastor to rest. You could recall that lately, he was engaged in series of rival meetings across the continent. Only recently, he was in Abuja, Taraba, Bayelsa, Imo, Edo, Akure and Ibadan. He was also in Ghana, Namabia and Togo and other West African countries.
He’s human and needs to rest, so we enjoined you all to pray for God’s strength upon his life and bear with us at this time. He is not going on holiday but he needs serious rest. I am very sure that before the programmes end, your Pastor will bounce back to complete what he had started” Asemota assured.
Kumuyi who eventually bounced back during the last day of the retreat did not make any reference to his health condition during his ministrations.
However, he was seen very agile and vibrant during the last day of the power-packed programme.
The soft-spoken preacher in his last sermon entitled “Reigning Through the Victory of Jesus” said, once you have the vision with Jesus Christ, you can achieve anything.
Speaking from the book of Luke 6:19, Kumuyi said in these perilous times, one needs to make Christ his focus. According to him, holiness is important as without it, no man can see God.
The preacher testified of a recent miracle that happened during his last programme in Bayelsa State.
According to him, after the programme, he went to the office of the state overseer for a meeting and in the process some persons brought three men on wheelchairs and dropped them behind his car.
“When I saw them, I told them in name of Jesus rise up and walk and I entered my car of drove off.
“Before we could reach the government house where we lodged, we received a call from them that they have started walking. That shows what God can do when you focus on him,” he told his congregation.
