"I can't date a poor man,Money & Love go together"-Actress Naomi Emmanuel

These days, men need to sit up because more ladies are moving from "handsome and caring" to men who are rich....Checkout excerpts from an interview by Sun with fast rising actress,Naomi Emmanuel also known as Nurse Titi in Clinic Matters .....

What kind of guy are you looking out for?
My ideal man should of course be handsome, tall, dark, God fearing, caring, loving, and rich enough to take good care of me.
Does that mean that average guys like us cannot come for you?
I have not said so. What I mean is that you must be rich enough to take care of me. Now that does not mean you must have excess money. If you are comfortable, at least, that’s good enough.
Why can’t you date an average guy?
It’s because it’s not just possible. How do I maintain myself? If I were not looking good would you come close to me?
Are you trying to say that it takes money to maintain love?

No, it does not but at least, you should be up and doing because money and love go together.
So money must be involved?
Yes.
So if God decides to give you someone that is not as rich as your expectations, what would happen?
God cannot give me what is not my heart’s desire.

Kefee diagnosed with pregnacy induced high blood pressure, needs miracle to survive — Doctor

Six-month pregnant Kefee is suffering from a pregnancy induced blood pressure -  pre-eclampsia.
Doctors say the chance of Kefee getting out of coma is slim as her situation not only requires prayers for survival, but also a miracle.
A close source who claimed anonymity toldTribune during the phone conversation “Kefee surely did not know that she had a high blood pressure before she embarked on the long trip and suddenly went into coma in the air. That she is pregnant has made her situation dicey, so she will need a miracle to survive, a doctor told me."
A medical doctor in Nigeria, Dr Adeyefa, shedding more light on Kefee’s condition, said
“Kefee is in a precarious situation because of the six months pregnancy. If the foetus had been nine months, the doctors would have removed the baby and saved the mother and child. As it is now, not only will the baby not survive because the carrier is in coma, Kefee may also lose her life from further complications. The chances of the mother surviving is narrow, while the kid has a narrower chance. I urge Nigerians to pray for her for a miracle because that is what she really needs,” he added.
Kefee had embarked on a 14-hour flight to Chicago for an event but went into coma, forcing the plane to land in Los Angeles so that she could be urgently attended to.
Her husband,Teddy Don-Momoh, confirmed the downward turn in her health by calling for prayers for her from Nigerians.
“We just need prayers now. She needs our prayers because there is nothing God can not do. Prayer is the key.” He wrote in a statement.
Kefee you will come out strong in Jesus name (please say a word of prayer in church today), amen!

Hired Asassins invade Daniel Ademinokan's home to kill Stella Damasus

In the early hours of May 31, about 12 heavily armed men stormed the Abuja home of Ademinokan, where Stella Damasus and her two daughters were said to have been living before they relocated to the United States with Ademinokan.

According to The Nation, Ademinokan’s younger brother, who just returned to Nigeria, and his mother were the only persons in the house on the fateful day.
It was gathered that the attackers insisted on getting Stella’s recent contact in the US, including her address and phone number, without success.
The source said: “The men kept yelling at Daniel’s brother. They were saying, ‘Your brother and his wife think they can just open their mouths and say anything they like about the government, abi?’”
The assailant, according to the source, didn’t take anything item away from the house because of the pathetic condition of Ademinokan’s mother, who is laid up with a stroke.
Stella is known for actively speaking against domestic violence as well as her advocacy for sanity during the ‘Child Not Bride’ campaign.
It would be recalled that, at the height of the campaign, she released a very daring video on YouTube, calling a particular serving Senator and his supporters paedophiles.
A few weeks ago, after the abduction of over 200 girls from Chibok, Stella released another video addressing the government and accusing it of not asking for help from foreign allies.
She is not bothered with the threats though, a few days ago she tweeted  “No form of political bullying or intimidation will work! You can’t shut me up! I will stand and speak the truth, regardless of your tactics. "
As if that was not enough, she followed up with another tweet: “That is what Nigeria is known for; you say the truth…they try to silence you! It will not work on Stella Damasus. I cannot be intimidated.”

How Davido disrupted Babcock students’ convocation

Timaya is ungrateful,I will never work with him again-K-Solo

K-Solo and Timaya were once like Donjazzy and Dbanj,K-solo produced his first three albums. After that, they fell out.In a new interview with Punch,K-solo said
"Whatever you are doing and you feel it is gone; it will be waiting for you. No sinner will go unpunished. When I was his producer, I produced his first three successful albums that made him what he is today. He never came back to show gratitude; instead he is always fighting me. If I talked to him to tell him the right thing to do, he felt I had no right to tell him such because he felt he is a star. When I wanted to get married, he was among the people who mocked me. Now, he has a ‘baby mama.’ In life, when we don’t know the kind of death we would have, we shouldn’t laugh at people because we don’t know how our case would be.It is not as if I want to bring him down but I want you to know that nothing lasts forever.
It is what you do in life that keeps you going eventually. I was on top of my game before I had the crisis. We should not bite the finger that fed us. God has made me big. I don’t need his money. I can talk about him because I am very comfortable. I don’t pay rent but where he lives today is still a rented apartment even with all his money. We are not friends on the job. But if I see him on the road, I can say hi to him. If he decides to respond, it is fine but if he doesn’t, it is also fine. Davido bought a house for his producer the other day. It is not as if Davido is working fully with the producer anymore but he never forgot that the producer made his first hit.I don’t want anything from him, it is already late.No way! I will never be his producer ever again! I can only give him advice"
On Timaya being upset over Patoranking dumping him for a new label,he said.....

I learnt Timaya is upset about a young artiste called Patoranking. His songs are actually topping charts at the moment. He featured Timaya in one of his songs. I leant Timaya said he signed the boy on his label. I know it is a lie. Timaya doesn’t like paper work. I know that about him. The boy was picked up by another record label and I learnt Timaya is upset about it and saying nonsense about the boy. Why didn’t he sign the boy? He just shot a video for the boy and the new label, as I learnt, is even ready to pay him what he spent but I learnt he refused the money.
I was the one that discovered the boy at Ebutte Meta. Till now, the boy has an album in my studio. I had released one or two songs for him and I was about to release more when I had the crisis with my ex. Timaya came to my studio and saw the boy. I don’t know how it happened but they left my studio. I didn’t even mind because when I had that issue, I had to let go of everybody around me. So immediately, Timaya did a song with him and shot the video without any form of agreement. Now, he is saying the boy is an ingrate.

Dora Akunyili Is Dead!

After a two year long battle with cancer, former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and ex minister of Information, Professor Dora Akunyili, has died In Read official statement written on her  facebook Page
PROF. (MRS.) DORA AKUNYILI IS DEAD
On behalf of the Akunyili's family, I wish to officially confirm the death of Prof. (Mrs.) Dora Nkem Akunyili, OFR, in a Specialist Cancer Hospital in India this morning at 10 am, Nigerian Time, after a two-year battle with cancer.
In spite her illness, Prof. Akunyili was unwavering in her belief in a better Nigeria. That was why she defied her condition and was part of Anambra State Handover Committee and the National Conference.

The last time I visited her in India, even when she needed all the prayers herself, she was full of concern for the abducted Chibok girls, security and other challenges facing the country and told me that she remained prayerful for the release of those girls and for God to help President Goodluck Jonathan to overcome all the challenges facing the Nation. She therefore urged all Nigerians to remain prayerful and committed to building a better society for our children. We all prayed together and I promised to be visiting her every month.
We thank all those who remain fervent in prayers for her recovery and urge them to remain prayerful for the peaceful repose of her soul.
