Reports reaching us confirms that the limpopo king, KCee has capped off a blistering year by acquiring a duplex in Chevy view estate, off Chevron drive, Lekki. 

It is confirmed that properties in this estate for a duplex is valued between N55 – N70million.

This year, Drake released Nothing Was The Same, his most recent full-length studio album. The work features "Tuscan Leather," "Worst Behavior," "The Language" and "Wu-Tang Forever," selections that helped Drake reach platinum certification with this release. After the project arrived, Drake spoke about making it. "My right-hand partner in music creation, challenged me on this album to trim that fat," Drake said. "To make a very concise project and asked me to—actually gave me a song cap. Asked me to keep it at 13 or 14 songs on the original. And so that was an interesting challenge for me. And now that it’s out and the world appreciates it, it’s a great feeling."

 In July, Nicki Minaj responded to questions regarding Drake's status with Young Money Cash Money Billionaires. During an interview with New York radio station Hot 97, Minaj was asked whether Drake is in Young Money or not and Minaj offered what she said sounded like a riddle as her answer.

"Is he not in Young Money?" Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex said to Minaj. "I'm not saying it wrong, but something is definitely not the same as the first album [with Drake]. That's how I feel. How do you feel?" Minaj responded. "Peoples' perception of their reality is their perception of their reality," Minaj said. "Sometimes people make moves based on their perception of what reality is. I know that sounds like a riddle, but maybe one day you'll be able to unravel that one. All I can say is this, Lil Wayne is everything to me. I can't speak for anyone else. What Young Money and Cash Money did for Nicki Minaj, I can never repay them for. So, I am forever indebted to them. Whatever happens with any other artist, I don't know. [Drake's] so talented. Sometimes, we've seen this. Sometimes when you're really intelligent and you're really talented, you also think a lot. Sometimes your mind is racing with thoughts. It is what it is. 26 year old Rodney Emeka emerges as MTN young Designer of the year.

                  

Twenty-six year old Rodney Emeka, the Creative Director of McMeka, won the MTN Young Designer of the Year competition at the Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2013.

He runs McMeka, a Lagos based menswear design label which solely focuses on bespoke tailoring which he founded in September 2011.

The young Portharcourt (PH) bred designer came up against formidable names like Waneami, Diana aLa Vid (DLV), Ayo Van Elmar, Reni Smith, Ladunni Lambo, Sho by Adesola Obebe, Tumilla by Tumi Ladega, Kenneth Ize and Siaiano who were also shortlisted as finalists for the MTN Young Designer of the Year.  However, his hard work and resilience paid off and he was crowned as the winner.

Nigeria's biggest and most prestigious music award,  the Headies Awards 2013 was held on the 26th December, 2013 at the Grand Ball room of Oriental Hotel, Lagos and was hosted by Mavin Records acts Tiwa Savage and Dr SID.

President Goodluck Jonathan orders investigation into the case of battered woman.

 President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered a probe into the case of a 34-year-old woman, Mrs. Alexandra Ossai, who accused her Lebanese boss, Kaveh Noine, of causing her to lose her seven-month pregnancy after he kicked her in the stomach.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, disclosed this in his Twitter handle as well as his Facebook page on Thursday.He said, “President Jonathan was shocked by reports of a pregnant Nigerian worker losing her baby after being beaten up by her Lebanese employer.

“The President has ordered the police, ministers of Interior, Labour, Women Affairs, Health and the NHRC to investigate for sanctions and remedial action.”

80 Nigerians repatriated from Saudi Arabia.

80 Nigerians repatriated from Saudi Arabia arrived at the Nnamid Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Wednesday in an Ethiopian Airline plane at about noon.

Mr Daniel Obot, the Assistant Director, Relief and Rehabilitation, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told newsmen at the Airport that the deportees were part of the 508 Nigerians residing illegally in Saudi Arabia.

He said the Federal Government approved their repatriation after they voluntarily agreed to return home, adding that they would be handed over to officials of their State Emergency Management Agency after due clearance.

The 80 deportees are said to be from eight states of the country.

31 from Kano State, 19 from Borno, three from Bauchi State, eight from Jigawa, seven from Yobe, two from Plateau, nine from Katsina State and one from Nasarawa State.

The deportees were mainly women, children and the sick.

More deportees are expected to arrive in the country on Thursday.
The deportees indicated their interest to return to Nigeria following a November deadline issued by the Saudi Authorities for all illegal immigrants to leave the country.

951 other Nigerians arrested by the Saudi authorities were being held in a camp in the country, and that they would return home at the instance of the Saudi government.

At the Benue fiesta, which attracted hundreds of youth, including men and women was organized by the member representing Guma/Makurdi federal constituency, Barrister Emmanuel Jime, who is known to be nursing gubernatorial ambition in 2015.

The venue of the event was jam-packed as all fun seekers in the agrarian state attended to unwind.

Prominent Nigerian artistes including J. Martins, I Go Dye, Ice Prince and Pastor Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu performed at the event and it was such a lively occasion before it was rudely interrupted. Trouble started as Terry G was on stage performing when some youth suspected to be hoodlums began to throw sachet water on the musician and later broke bottles and charged towards him, while making loud noise. There was confusion as people ran helter skelter for their lives.
