Kim Kardashian and Kanye West can't marry until they finalise their pre-nuptial agreement.
The couple were rumoured to have tied the knot in a secret ceremony at the weekend as their planned Paris nuptials later this month won't be legally binding, but insiders say they haven't yet got their documentation in order to carry out the official ceremony yet.
Kim and Kanye - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are not set to sign the pre-nup until some time next week, but insiders told TMZ the delays are not because they can't agree on how to divide their assets in the event their marriage dissolves, but because there is so much to sort out.
And the paperwork is particularly complicated because the Bound 2 rapper recently changed management teams.
Kim recently slammed claims she and Kanye have already married, and also revealed that, unlike her doomed union with Kris Humphries - who she was married to for just 72 days in 2011 - the ceremony won't be shown on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
She tweeted: "Seeing so many different reports not gonna start disputing them all but a few I want to straighten out...
"1. We are not married yet!
"2. We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
"You will see everything leading up til and after!
"As much as we would love to share these memories on camera, we've decided to keep this close to our heart & share thru photos
"3. No guest list has been released. Seeing fake ones. Especially not 1600 people invited like I just read. Its VERY small & intimate (sic)".
It is believed the loved-up duo will be forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris as French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get married in the country.
