Julia Roberts and family fear they will be banned from half-sister's funeral

Julia Roberts is reportedly worried she will be banned from her half-sister's funeral.

The August: Osage County star, who tried to get Nancy Motes to go to rehab in the months before she was found dead in a bathtub from an apparent drug overdose on Sunday, and other family members are afraid to speak out about the Oscar-nominee's "complex" relationship with Nancy, for fear of being prevented from paying their respects at the private service.

Nancy also allegedly claimed the actress "drove her" to suicide in a five-page note.

A source close to the family told RadarOnline.com: "There's plenty of people in the family who want to talk right now, but with the feud between Julia and Nancy being so public, everyone is scared to say anything.

"If they speak, they'll surely be banned from attending the funeral. Above all, the family just wants to be there to pay respects to Nancy."

An insider previously admitted that Julia's troubled relationship with Nancy was made worse by the former production worker's addiction.

Nancy, 37, regularly launched public attacks on her famous relative on Twitter but friends insisted they were often triggered by the actress' pleas for her to seek help in rehab.

The source added: "Julia is taking the death very hard. It's extremely difficult for her because it didn't have to happen."
