The Wives to debut on stage in October

 A new play by Professor Ahmed Yerima, titled The Wives, will be showing in October to  audience in Lagos, reports Nigeria Films.

The play will  be at the Muson Centre in Onikan, Lagos from October 9 to  11 October.

The play tells the story of Chief Theophilus Gbadegeshin Olowookere, his sister and his three wives, Angela, Cecilia and Tobi.

Nollywood stars Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Jide Kosoko, Iretiola Doyle and Kemi Lala Akindoju  feature on this project.

The author, Ahmed Yerima  has held the position of  General Manager for the  National Theatre of Nigeria and  Artistic Director of National Troupe of Nigeria in the past.

He is presently Professor of Theatre Arts at the Redeemer's University.

Wande Coal shoots video for Baby Hello

The Black diamond of the Nigeria’s music industry Wande Coal will soon release the video for the love song Baby Hello.

The video which was directed by Sesan Ogunro of Film Factory on location within Lagos, features Yemi Alade who stars as Wande’s love interest in the video.

Yemi Alade put up a shot clip of the behind the scenes from the video shoot on her Instagram page.

The song is produced by Maleek Berry and was released in April 2014.

In 2012 following a fallout between record label Executives Don Jazzy and D'banj, Wande Coal left MoHits to join Dr SID, D'Prince and Tiwa Savage on  Don Jazzy's new Record Label, Mavin Records, which he left in 2013.

Apaye lgets 10 nominations for 2014 BON awards

Nollywood film Apaye has gotten 10 nominations at the 2014 Best Of Nollywood awards scheduled to hold at the Dr. Obi Wali centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on October 4, Movie Moments

The Nollywood flick, which stars Mbong Amata, Clarion Chukwurah and Kanayo O Kanayo  is closely followed by A Mile From Home with 8 nominations, The Meeting with 7 nominations and Silence with 6 nominations.
